Foundry and Hardhat with kexify

Foundry and Hardhat have no WalletConnect signer, so build and test locally, then deploy through Remix with your project folder.

  1. 1

Build and test as usual: forge build and forge test (or npx hardhat compile and npx hardhat test).

  2. 2

    Share the project folder with Remix: npx @remix-project/remixd -s . --remix-ide https://remix.ethereum.org

  3. 3

In Remix, choose the localhost workspace (Connect to localhost) and open your contract.

  4. 4

Compile it in Remix, then deploy with the WalletConnect environment, as in the Remix guide.

  5. 5

Use cast or Hardhat scripts for read-only calls; send transactions from Remix so kexify signs them.

kexify does not work as a Foundry or Hardhat signer (for example --account or a private key), and it never gives you a raw private key unless you rebuild it yourself from both key files.
